For A Cause: ATI Foundation Golf Outing

I am not much of a golfer, but when it is for a good cause, I am ready to enjoy a day at the golf course.

On September 14, the ATI foundation hosted the 3rd Annual Washington Golf Outing in Auburn, WA. The ATI Foundation provides resources and funding to children with physical impairments to enhance and sustain a better quality of life.

It was a beautiful day to be out on the golf course. We're already feeling the onset of fall with a cool, cloudy day, but at least the rain stayed at bay while everyone was on the greens. The event provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy a little exercise and and a lot of nature.

We had a lot of fun playing golf, and was treated to a delicious catered dinner. The ATI Foundation presented three local children and their families over $10 dollars raised from this event. The more I learn about the ATI Foundation, the more interested I become in their cause.

The ATI foundation was founded by ATI Physical Therapy in 2003. In the last sixteen years, the foundation has raised over $6 million dollars to help over 6,700 children purchase medical equipment, pay bills, remodel homes to accommodate special needs and most importantly giving hope through an offer of a better quality of life.

I respect this organization and am pleased to help them make day-to-day impacts in the lives of children with physical impairments and their families. I am thankful for the invitation to be a part of this impactful event.
