The Rainy Replenishment
Today is rainy and overcast. The sky is gray and heavy, providing the perfect atmosphere for a world that is finally, quietly, slowing down to catch its breath.
I’m feeling it today—that deep, soul-level fatigue that comes from going too long without properly nourishing the foundation. It’s been a season of big shifts, from settling into Greenville to launching into a new job. I’ve been so focused on the work and the "adulting" that I almost forgot that my spirit needs to be fed, too.
You must make sure you have time to rest, otherwise, every bit of the work you do will be compromised. If your foundation isn’t being nourished, you’re just building on shifting sand. Today, the rain is my reminder to hydrate and replenish my body and my mind. This isn't a setback; it’s a necessary reset for emotional regulation. It is the rain that allows our spirits to eventually step back into purpose and continue to shine.
Today’s forecast: Don’t fight the gray sky. Use the rain as a permission slip to stop, hydrate, and replenish. Your purpose will be waiting for you once you've rested.
You’ve got this!
