Weather Report: The Song of the Sun
Today, the sun is brilliant and casting light on a foot of fresh snow. It’s cold and quiet, but the air is finally moving again.
I took a walk through the woods today, literally wading through the aftermath of the storm. Even though I’m still 'buried in' and away from my normal schedule, the air feels different. It’s mild, it’s fresh, and it’s full of life.
I sat still enough to hear six different species of birds chirping today. It reminded me that even when our world feels 'stalled' or frozen, life is still happening in the details. Taking this time to be mindful—to breathe in the air and stay in the moment—has turned a 'weather delay' into a deep reset for my soul. You don't have to be 'on schedule' to be on the right path.
Today’s forecast: Look for life in the stillness. If you're still waiting for your 'thaw,' use the time to listen. The birds are already singing about what’s next.
You’ve got this!
