A Nature Day of Poetry - December 8, 2023

The season is transitioning with frigid ferocity. I am ignited as we head into the Yule season. A chance to slow down and look inward. To see what flows forward and what needs to be released with the fallen leaves.

Our life is a river that ebbs and flows. Our suffering comes from our resistance to what we perceive is unwanted. I am ready to accept what is and find creative paths to move forward.

The land is my church. The trees, my choir. The river, my baptism. The fire, my spirit.

Namaste.

Life flows like the river.

The path of least resistance.

If you want something,

You have to fight for it.

Raven Days

Able to be in the present

Enjoy the good things

Peck at the bad

Keep flying on
