The New Moon Planting

Today’s morning felt lost in a tunnel of fog, followed by a slow, but brilliant breakthrough of warmth and sunlight. It’s a day that started in the shadows and ended with the clarity of a clear sky.

Driving to work this morning felt like traveling through a tunnel—it was eerie and quiet, mirroring that worn-down feeling of just having "enough" energy to show up and do the job. But I stayed steady. I know I’m doing the work I’m supposed to be doing right now. When I got home, the sun was shining, and I took the time I needed to just sit on the grass and breathe.

Tonight is the new moon—a powerful time to set intentions and plant the seeds of what we want to manifest. It feels like the perfect moment to start the seeds for my herb garden. We spent the last few weeks weathering the ice and clearing the debris; now, we are using the darkness of the new moon to tuck our dreams into the soil. You don't need a surplus of energy to start something new; you just need enough intentionality to put the first seed in the dirt.

Today’s forecast: Trust the clarity that comes after the fog. Use tonight’s stillness to set your intentions and plant your garden. The growth starts in the dark.

You’ve got this!
